Barcelona directors have reportedly told
star defender Samuel Umtiti that he is
free to leave the club at the end of the
ongoing La Liga season if he wants to.
Samuel Umtiti has been impressive this
season for Barcelona helping the Catalan
giants to win the 2017/18 Spanish La Liga
title.
but these two clubs will have to meet
Barcelona's €60m buyout clause for the
possibility of luring the Frenchman away
from the Camp Nou.
An unnamed Barca director admitted to
L'Equipe according to Tribal football
that: "If Umtiti wants to leave, he will do
it and we will have to accept it."
The statement is now expected to be a
good development for Manchester United
and Real Madrid ahead of the summer
transfer window.

Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti is
reportedly planning to shun Manchester
United’s offer to stay at the Camp Nou
next season.
Barely two years after his move to the
Catalan club in 2016, the France
international has been heavily linked
with a move to Old Trafford this summer.
Having told Barca chiefs he wanted to be
amongst the highest paid players at the
club after Lionel Messi and Andres
Iniesta, and United are planning to take
advantage of the situation to lure the
player away from the club.
